Swiss Foundation of Consumer Protection

The private foundation for consumer protection, based in Bern, has pursued the goal of safeguarding consumer interests since its founding in 1964. It promotes fair, ecological business practices and self-determined, conscious consumption. The foundation is independent and committed to the concerns of consumers. It works to empower self-determined consumers to make conscious, informed and sustainable consumer choices, and to strengthen consumer rights. To that end, the foundation maintains a constant dialogue with consumers and strengthens the position of consumers in everyday life and in special situations through information, public relations, networking, consultation, advocacy, and monitoring.
